Overview

Emergency First Aid at Work is a one-day course awarding a 3-year FAA Level 3 RQF qualification. It's designed to give one or more members of your team the practical skills and confidence to act as a designated first aider in a low-risk workplace environment.

Who This Course Is For

This course is suited to businesses that operate in lower-risk environments — such as offices, retail, or small teams - and need to appoint a designated first aider to meet HSE workplace first aid requirements.

What You'll Learn

• How to assess a casualty and manage an emergency scene safely

• Resuscitation techniques (CPR) for adults

• Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

• How to help someone who is choking

• Managing bleeding, wounds, and shock

• Treating minor and major burns

Course Format

This course is delivered in person over one day, combining practical demonstrations with hands-on training so delegates leave able to respond confidently in a real emergency.

Certification

Successful delegates receive a nationally recognised FAA Level 3 RQF qualification, valid for 3 years.
